5 New Year Quotes to Inspire You

A New Year with New Possibilities! I love this time of year as it is an opportunity to make changes in our lives.  We are still feeling high from the Festive Season and a New Year looms with all kinds of opportunity.  It is up to us whether we choose to open our minds and hearts to new opportunities or continue on the same path.

New Year quotes

It is the perfect time to consider the year ahead. As this quote suggests: ‘full of things that have never been”.  Isn’t that exciting?  Starting with new ideas, new thoughts a new you.  It is all possible.

New Year Quote

New Year, New Chances.  The New Year is a time to look forward with anticipation and to embrace what could happen if you change your thinking.  We all worry about things in life and I’m so guilty of this.  However, worry is such a useless and draining emotion.  The New Year is the time to reflect on how you are, where you are and how you would like to be or where you would like to be.

New Year Quote

To me a New Year is always full of hope.  Hope that this year will be better than the last.  Where would we be without hope?  We all need that feeling of hope and optimism to help us through the rough patches in life.

New Year Quote

The New Year brings 365 days to be filled anyway you choose.  You can fill your 365 days with negativity or you can determine to make these next 365 days each count for something.  How will you write your book for the next 365 days?  You are the author of your life so you can control the storyline.

New Year Quote

Each year most of us are guilty of putting off things.  ‘I’ll do that tomorrow..’  Procrastination can be debilitating but you can achieve anything if you have a Life Plan.  Don’t live your life with regret.  Go for what you want from life and on December 31 be able to reflect on all you have enjoyed throughout the year, rather than saying ‘I wish I had’.  Life is there to be lived so go live it with no regrets.

What will you do to make this New Year your best?

Happy New Year!

Yes Donna, I find that after the excitement of Christmas/New Year dies down we sort of fall into a slump so a few quotes can just pick us up. Thanks for stopping by and have a beautiful weekend. x

These quotes are very inspirational Sue. I like quote #4 as it means that we can all change our lives and start afresh with a new page in our lives. It is so important for we 50 somethings to keep ourselves busy and set new goals. Thanks for the motivation!

Really Inspiring! I love how you talk about having it be our choice how we fill those days, I plan on filling mine positively, but some days are really hard, but still I will continue to see the good in each one xx

I loved this so much I shared : “Procrastination can be debilitating but you can achieve anything if you have a Life Plan. Don’t live your life with regret. Go for what you want from life and on December 31 be able to reflect on all you have enjoyed throughout the year, rather than saying ‘I wish I had’. Oh thank you Julie how lovely of you to share. You are so right we should never say ‘I wish I had’ and I’ve done that more times than I should have. Thanks for stopping by and have a beautiful day xx
