It is coming into Autumn in Australia. Living in Brisbane, Australia is such a wonderful lifestyle. The weather is good with sunshine year round and the winters are mild. However, I sometimes would love to live in a place where the seasons are more defined.
I do love Autumn in Brisbane because there is a feeling of ‘softness’ and freshness after the heat of summer. The mornings and evenings are deliciously crisp and cool with gorgeous blue sky, It certainly makes running easier and cooler and life in general just that little more pleasant.
I absolutely adore the autumnal colours as the leaves on the trees change colour. We don’t have many of those in Brisbane so you don’t really experience the gorgeous colours of orange, russet and gold as leaves change and fall.
I’ve visited the North America several times and always during the Autumn – or ‘Fall’ as my U.S. friends like to call it. I have indulged my passion for the ‘Fall’ colours. In fact’, there are tours showcasing the beauty of ‘Fall’ which I would recommend.
So I’d like to share some of my photos of Brisbane in Autumn and contrast them with the gorgeous changing of the seasons on my visits to Washington, New York and Prince Edward Island – famous for being the home of ‘Anne of Green Gables’.
