Love your new focus for Mondays Sue – you are always changing things up. Happiness is so important and an area I’ve learned a lot about in the last couple of years. My life is all about focusing on the positive and looking for the good, being grateful, thankful etc. So much in fact that there is no one thing I could state makes me happy – it’s a combination of all the little things now.

I love this idea. Starting the week off with something positive. I recommend the book Broadcasting Happiness by Michelle Gielan on this topic.

Great post Sue, I love the idea of starting the week with positivity and happiness. I’m away for a few days in Canberra visiting my daughter and son in law, going for some bike rides, shopping, eating out and enjoying their company. I’m very fortunate!

Monday needs all the help it can get, Sue, so I’m glad to see you are lending your positivity to this maligned day of the week. I look forward to having a reason to get up in the morning on Mondays from now on!

I spent most of my life putting everyone else before me; now that the children are grown, I sometimes feel at a loss.
However, it is a time of life when I can be entirely selfish without feeling guilt, so ‘Thank You God’ for the many blessings I’ve received & the wisdom gained along the way.

So right! You should embrace your new life and never feel guilty – it is now your time! It is hard when the children have grown but it can be very exciting to explore yourself and what you want for the rest of your life. Have a beautiful day. xx

Ah, this made me think about the song Monday, Monday by The Mamas & The Papas. Thank you Sue for sharing this post at Wednesday AIM Link Party at Grammy’s Grid. I shared it on social media. Hope you get lots of traffic!

I like this idea of beginning your week with a positive thought. Watching out for your own happiness is something all mums should think about. I try to do at least a few things everyday that are for me only – a bit of writing, some reading or even watching a spot of TV. Keeps me going through the day. #mg
