10 ways to rejuvenate yourself

I recently wrote a post about Cancer Survivors Day which is on June 5 and will be also promoting Global Wellness Day on June 11.ย  As part of my #couchpotatotofabfit Facebook Group I decided instead of a monthly challenge and because we are mid-year, it was an opportune time to devote 30 days to Rejuvenating ourselves through healthier eating, regular exercise and finding balance in our lives.

My philosophy to health has always been holistic, that is, physical, mental attitude and spirituality all form part of our well-being and overall health.ย  Both Cancer Surviviors’ Day and Global Wellness Day remind us that life is precious and we need to take responsibility for our health and to educate ourselves to be the healthiest and happiest we can be.

Rejuvenate yourself

Over the next few weeks, I will be writing ten short posts, highlighting each of the 10 ways you can rejuvenate yourself and why they are all important to the process of total well-being.

    These are all great tips that many of us fail to use when we’re feeling low. I think the most difficult thing is socializing when you don’t feel like smiling or being cordial. Sometimes pushing ourselves into those social situations is the only surefire way to rejuvenate. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving your kind words on my page. Glad to meet you, Sue.     These are all great tips! My favorite way to rejuvenate is to spend time at a spa. What I really should be doing, though, is eating better!

    I am headed to the gym for the 2nd time today, since I need some additional rejuvenation. Trainer tells me only 30 more minutes, as he doesn’t want me to over do it. However, I am making up for lost time. And not lost pounds!

    These are great! I love eating locally grown produce in the summer. It tastes better and makes for healthy meals and snacks.

    YES! We may not have access to a “Fountain of Youth,” but these are all things each one of us can do to make us feel a little better — and younger! Honestly, I struggle the most with consistent exercise. Every little bit helps, I know, but I am striving toward consistency.

      Why not just set 2 days per week to start regular exercise rather than trying to go full on immediately. Twice a week, same days, same time. Schedule in half an hour and soon it will be a habit. ๐Ÿ™‚

      Hi Roxanne I don’t believe you are alone in the two you struggle with. Exercise is hard to maintain in a busy life although we really do need it and I find in winter I forget to drink water so become hydrated especially if in air conditioning. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
