How to Find Happiness

I recently met a fabulous lady, Kimberly Montgomery from FiftyJewels.com and I am happy to introduce you to her today.  Kimberly has an energy and passion for life which shows through in her writing.  Her main purpose is to help us find Happiness and Joy in our lives and I’m excited to share and be an affiliate for her next project – ‘Finding Your Joy’.

Happiness Find Your Joy

Kimberly writes……

How to Find Happiness

I have a secret.

I can read your mind. Really.
(Even though we’ve probably never met, and I know virtually nothing about you.)

But I DO KNOW this one, very important thing about YOU.  And here it is . . .

You want to feel HAPPY.
Did your heart catch a little when you read that? Yea, I know the feeling.

Behind all the wants — bigger house, shinier car, new clothes, great shoes, loving relationship — behind all of it, what we all REALLY want, and need, is to be HAPPY.

You just want to feel light, joyful, excited about life. HAPPY.

Why then, does it seems so hard? And so far away?

FREE WORKSHOPFind Your JOY!(1)

Wait — don’t be hard on yourself, you’re not alone. The search for HAPPINESS is one we all share. And it’s easy to feel frustrated about not feeling HAPPY as much as you’d like.

So why do we all suffer from a HAPPINESS crises?

Great question, you smarty-pants you!

The problem lies in how we’ve created the world around us and what we have decided, as a culture, is important.

The fact is, we’re looking for HAPPINESS is all the wrong places.

Let me give you an example:

What do most of us do when we first wake up in the morning?

  • Think about our never ending To-Do list
  • Obsess about the problems we didn’t solve yesterday
  • Worry, worry, worry
  • Wonder if we’re late
  • Chastise ourselves for not being perfect

And the list goes on . . .

And this is just our morning routine!

The really bad news is this goes on in our head ALL DAY LONG.

And then, at the end of our day we reach for the Chocolate, Wine, Netflix (Yes! I have been watching YOU!), because we have a life we need to RECOVER from at the end of the day.

Life has become a battle, and we’re worn out.

And then we wonder WHY we don’t feel HAPPY.

What if you woke up tomorrow, and instead of doing your usual STRESSFUL morning mental dance, you asked yourself:

“How do I want to feel today?”

Doesn’t that sound lovely?

Find Your Joy

So here’s the GOOD NEWS.

Being HAPPY is easy. You just need to learn a few simple steps to start turning your life into a HAPPY, JOYFUL place to be.

I promise you, it’s super simple when you know a few easy tricks.

Sue and I would like to invite you to the life changing Webinar, ‘Find Your JOY’ on September 7th.  You’ll learn WHY life feels so hard, WHY you feel drained and the 3-Step Formula for creating more HAPPINESS and JOY in your life.

I hope you’ll join us. The world needs more JOY!

Hi Janice, I’ve seen Kimberly around different FB groups but only recently came to know her personally. Can’t wait to hear her webinar and what she has in store for the course.

This is all so true for those of us who struggle with a search for inner happiness. It has taken me the last few years to really move into a place where I can honestly say I’m happy and I don’t search for it all the time anymore. Having resources like this might have made my journey a lot shorter 🙂

It is quite common isn’t Leanne to be struggling and then suddenly start seeing the light during midlife. 🙂

      Yes she certainly does Linda!

I’m with Leanne above; I’m at a stage in my life where I’m happy with what I have, but I sure could have used this a few years ago! xx

Hey ladies! I’ve read many of Kimberly’s articles and she is fantastic. The majority of people WANT to be happy in their lives except not all know how to do that. Happiness to some is material things. Others, it’s love, friendship, and/or peace. Whatever it may be, people need to learn ways to find it.

I really enjoyed this post and look forward to reading more!

Hey Lovely Ladies!! Happy Happy Saturday! So FUN to read what you ALL had to say! I love to hear the journeys and what events made things start to change. For me, it was deciding that I was no longer willing to waste another day on stress or worry. It’s like opening up the blinds and letting the sunshine in! Thank you Sue, for allowing me to visit your beautiful space on the internet and become a part of your ‘Girl Gang’!!
