The Power of Gratitude

the Power of Gratitude

Gratitude – we have read so much about this lately and I’ve written about it before. In my opinion, one problem when a topic starts trending, is that there are so many articles and courses that spring up from everywhere that we either lose interest or get ‘sucked’ into paying money for courses that do not live up to our expectations.

We are all looking for happiness in our lives and my last guest writer, Kimberly Montgomery from FiftyJewels.com wrote about ‘How to Find Happiness’.  You can read it HERE if you missed it.

I’ve recently undertaken a course ‘The Magical Power of Gratitude’ with Kimberly  and I found it so inspiring I actually asked Kimberly if I could become an affiliate.

I’m not one to promote unless I feel there is value and so in this post, I’m reviewing the course.  I want to give you an idea of what is involved and why I believe you would benefit from joining Kimberly to learn how to use Gratitude to find Happiness In your life.

As I said, I feel that the word ‘Gratitude’ gets tossed around and we all think ‘ Yes, I know I should be grateful, I’m better off than others in this world’.  I thought that too, however, Kimberly definitely taught me that there is just so much more to the word.

So let’s cut to the chase……

Why did I enjoy this course so much I wanted to promote it?

  • This course is not the usual ‘airy fairy’ approach.  It provides useful tools and information to show how much Gratitude can affect our lives.
  • Self paced so you can take your time and do it when it is convenient for you
  • The offer of a special facebook group for sharing and support
  • Series of 6 video lessons each around 10 – 15 minutes. Surely, You can spare that each day to improve your life?
  • Interactive course with workbook to help you record your thoughts and ideas
  • Kimberly is easy to listen to and you can hear her enthusiasm for life – that is infectious!
  • Easy to do homework tasks that reinforce your learnings
  • Motivating, encouraging and supportive

What are some of my take-aways from The Magical Power of Gratitude

Sounds fantastic. Maybe this explains why I love bananas.

Hi Lois, I’ve only recently met Kimberly but I’ve heard lovely things about her. She seems very motivated and passionate which is great.

It’s great to see people being proactive about gratitude, happiness and positivity – we can all do with a boost in those areas and this sounds wonderful.

Kimberly is the bomb and I mean that in a good way. She brings light and fun with her and her gratitude shines through in her blog and her videos.

Yes I’m excited Jennifer as I’ve just met Kimberly and everyone I’ve spoken to just love her and her message. Thanks for stopping by.

I really like yours and Kimberly’s point that gratitude is so much more than thinking, “I have it so much better than so many others, I should be thankful…” It can be a complicated emotion and it is so much deeper than that. But that is what makes it such a powerful force.

Gratitude is a way of life for me and has been for a long time.

This sounds really interesting, I have to say that a lot of online courses put me off because there is very little substance to them but this sounds great and like you really took something away from it. We could all definitely be more grateful!

Yes I know what you mean Charlotte, I’m usually disappointed but was pleasantly surprised.

Wendy, thank you for sharing your impressions! I tend to avoid trending topics and bestsellers – somehow I have a strange aversion to things that are promoted too actively. On the other hand, I know that this specific issue is important; being able to be more grateful would do a world of good for me, so I appreciate feedback from someone I trust.

    • Reply Sue Loncaric September 8, 2016 at 13:15

Hi Eugenie, I too try to avoid the ‘oversell’ but I found the course so motivating. Some of the things I already knew – as is the case with most of us – but I did pick up some new viewpoints and as I said the motivation was the key for me. Thanks for stopping by.

This is definitely a great subject to be talking about and to be practicing. I think the lack of gratitude in relationships is one of the first signs that the relationship may break down. We probably all need a reminder from time to time to be more thankful.

I know Kathleen. Life does get busy and sometimes it we need a jolt of reality to bring us back to earth. We do need reminding but that is what we are all here for to give each other a nudge occasionally.

Gratitude is a wonderful trait/emotion/action. It is humbling and uplifting at the same time.
